My solo piano arrangement of Papa Roach’s “Getting Away With Murder.” Here’s an outline of what I’m playing: INTRO: Right hand: Cm Eighth notes in left hand run: C, G, C (octave higher), D, Eb, D, C, G Right hand: G major Notes in left hand run: G, D, G (octave higher), A, B, A, G, D Right hand: Ab major Notes in left hand: Ab, Eb, Ab (octave higher), Eb, Bb, Eb, Ab, Eb Right hand: G major Notes in left hand: G, G (octave higher), D, B, G (octave lower), G (another octave lower), B, D (Repeat. First time, right hand plays melody only; 2nd time, melody + chords) VERSE: Same chords as the intro: Cm, G, Ab, G (one chord per measure). The right hand plays the melody, and the left hand plays a simple quarter note pattern, alternating between the chord’s root note, 5th, and root note an octave higher. CHORUS: Cm, Ab, Fm, Db9.
